Angels on Horseback

For individuals with physical and mental disabilities, most of their lives are focused on what they can't do. We are a non profit organization who helps those individuals focus on what they can do. Participants at Angels can:

• Meet new friends
• Challenge themselves mentally & physically
• Enjoy fresh air and the beauty of nature; 
• Connect with animals that show unconditional love
• Connect with people who support potential
• Build a stronger sense of themselves & improve self-esteem
• Learn new skills, laugh, and have fun.

However, we need your help to do this. Here's how you can help:

Volunteer: Volunteers help to teach lessons, tend to horses, help with special events (like horse shows), handle administrative duties, or join our board of directors. The 'Volunteering' page of our website has more information on volunteering.

Spread the word about our mission: Encourage your friends to get involved and participate at our wonderful organization.

Donate money: Donate a scholarship so that an individual can enjoy therapeutic benefits of equine interaction. 


Sponsor an event: You can help with our operating expenses- we are always on the lookout for assistance with our daily needs.

Donate goods or services: One of the best ways to help is to donate items such as riding gear, stable equipment, refreshments for the participants, food for horses, etc.

The Men's Breakfast Club from Holy Family Church: Don Wells and the Mountain Stewards
Don Wells and the Mountain Stewards have developed a wooded mile-long Sensory Trail consisting of many unique stations. While riding, students stop and experience each station using one of their five senses.
