For individuals with physical and mental disabilities, most of their lives are focused on what they can't do. Angels on Horseback is a non-profit organization that focuses on what individuals with special needs CAN do! At our facility, participants can:

• Meet new people and make new friends;
• Challenge themselves mentally and physically;
• Enjoy fresh air and the beauty of nature;
• Connect with animals that only show unconditional love;
• Be surrounded by people who support potential and possibility;
• Build a stronger sense of self and improve their self-esteem;
• Learn new skills; and
• Laugh, and have fun.

To provide these wonderful benefits to our participants, we need your help. Here's what you CAN do:

Volunteer: We need volunteers to teach lessons, tend to the horses, help with a special event, handle administrative duties, join our board of directors. For more information, visit the Volunteers section of our website.

Spread the word about our mission: Tell your friends, family and co-workers about the amazing work our organization does and the benefits it provides for people with disabilities. Encourage them to get involved.

Donate money: Donate a scholarship so that an individual can enjoy therapeutic benefits of equine interaction. Sponsor an event. Help with our operating expenses - we are always looking for assistance with our day-to-day needs.

Donate goods or services: An excellent way to help is to supply items like riding gear, stable equipment, refreshments for the participants, food for horses, etc.
