THE NOTICE BOARD

ATTENTION EVERYONE:

2008 paperwork is required for everyone. Students, volunteers, everyone who participates in the program, we need 2008 paperwork on you. Paperwork must be updated annually. Enclosed please read all paperwork and fill out your portion and have your student's Physician fill out their important information too. Volunteers, your paperwork must be done for 2008 also. Information is forever changing. We must be current on all information. Parents, remember if your student, or volunteer is under 21, your signature is required. Thanks.

WE DID IT! The 501c3 Status Report

Angels on Horseback, Inc. received our 501c3 with the IRS as of October 1st, 2007. We can invite and accept donations from individuals, companies, groups, as part of estates, and in lieu of flowers at funerals, and anytime a money donation is made, we can provide a document recording that donation and it becomes tax deductible for that individual. This is primarily the way that not for profits provide services for their clients. We hope that it will provide a means by which Angels can acquire much needed funds for scholarships, equipment, and to further improve our facility.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Areas where we need assistance are Administratively, Programs, and Facilities. If you feel you have any gifts or interest in these areas, please let us know. There are committees being formed now to see to the requirements needed to be met in each of these areas.

THE EFFECTS OF THE DROUGHT

Drought conditions have made hay as hard to find and precious as GOLD! If you have any connections for fescue hay, please email us and let us know. Donations for hay this year are more necessary than anything. It is amazing all the ways the drought is affecting Angels on Horseback. Financially, it is costing 3 - 4 times as much. In addition to that hay is virtually impossible to find as farmers only had one cutting this year instead of three.

Also our easy water solution has evaporated. Our 2 springs on the property have dried up making us have to pay for water and keep water troughs constantly topped off. Please keep praying for rain, but not on lesson days.
