About Volunteering It always feels good to help others. But nothing compares to seeing the joy on the face of someone you’ve helped to believe in themselves. That's what volunteers do at Angels every day.
Angels on Horseback offers therapeutic horseback riding to physically and mentally challenge individuals. We need dedicated, caring volunteers to share their time and energy as part of our wonderful program. As a volunteer, you’ll meet new friends, expand your awareness about individuals with disabilities, enjoy the outdoors, learn about horses, all while having a great time! All that's required is a willingness to help others rise above their personal limitations, and a big heart. Tasks at Angels may include sidewalking for riders in the arena, grooming horses, maintaining facilities and equipment, preparing horses with the correct tack, perform clerical and administrative duties, act as committee members, and more. You need to be at least 14 years old; you also need to complete/sign the Volunteer form, and attend a two-hour training session. Make a difference in someone's life.
